We strive to support children and adults with motion impairments to live a life of greater mobility. We aim for equal accessibility for our users at home, in everyday situations.
We want to bring more joy of movement to everyone challenged by disabilities or motion disorders, and to ensure the best possible development opportunities for children and an equitable quality of life.
We are developing a new type of electrically powered walker: RooWalk
RooWalk allows users to stand upright hands-free, walk with less effort, and significantly increase their range of motion.
Further details on the technical solution with illustrations of the product will be published once patenting of the technology has been secured.
Our goal is to enable all users to participate at home, on the road, in daily dealings and when traveling – just as we all have our own family life and our place in society.
How does it work? Easily explained
The device performs the function that a parent performs in holding their child from behind and following all intended movements and in all directions, while providing as much assistance as needed.
The limited possibilities of available solutions have motivated us to find a new approach that questions the status quo of existing walking aids. For our users, direct and unhindered interaction with their social environment has top priority – and determines our development of the electrically powered walking aid.
The next generation of mobility solutions.
We are convinced that our product with its advantages is the next generation of mobility solutions.
- The child uses their own body to control the device
- is powered by two electric wheels
- follows the intention movement
- is individually adaptable and grows with you

The advantages of RooWalk
Our product is suitable for supporting children and adults who face special challenges due to limitations in their mobility, temporary impairments of the lower extremities or physical disabilities.
For Children
Where congenital or acquired neuromuscular diseases affect the child’s muscle strength, motor control, balance or posture, children are not able to stand and walk independently for longer periods. This is due to cerebral palsy, craniocerebral palsy trauma, Angelman’s syndrome, Down’s syndrome, cat cry syndrome, spinal muscular atrophy, Rett’s syndrome, and Spina Bifida and others.
For Adults
Where movement, coordination, and balance is significantly affected due to injuries, strokes, or elderly frailty and severe mobility challenges, adults need assistance for secure walking and standing (e. g. walking training) – even when there is sufficient walking ability. The RooWalk Electric-Powered Walker will shorten sitting time for people confined to wheelchairs; reduce the risk of poor blood circulation and help with wound and pressure management.
